Do you even Rivalry Bro?

The Montreal Canadiens set their sights on the inagural EHE Cup, the beginning for MOntreal takes them into familiar territory as the Bell Centre welcomes the White and Blue from Toronto into their building for what is expected to be the biggest playoff matchup in EHE's inagural playoffs.

"When we look at all the other playoff matchups, we can safely say that this will nothing short of an all out war between two hated franchises."

Though the Canadiens finished 6 points ahead of the Leafs, the Habs and Leafs played tight against each other with the Canadiens taking 2 of 3 but not by much. The Canadiens know going into this series that they cannot take the LEafs for granted or else they'll be in an uphill battle.

"The Leafs made some moves at the deadline to put themselves in this position, we need to be ready for them from the opening faceoff."

Canadiens captain, Patrick Marleau, knows that the veterans need to step up big time. The first line of Giroux-Marleau-Pominville have been nothing short of lights out during the year with Giroux and Marleau finishing in the top 10 in scoring and Pominville providing a solid anchor to a dominating line.

"We need to set the tone for the game and the series and make sure that the guys behind us feed off of it. We know that the crowd will give us all the energy we need and we need to capitalize right off the bat." Said Marleau after their practice yesterday.

Laviolette said the key for the Habs will not only be relying on the vets but ensuring that the kids get rid of any playoff gitters early and get ready because they will be heavily counted on to provide scoring depth against a tough Leafs team that doesn't plan on going down easily. "We know they're coming to shut us down and we are more than ready for them."

The Bell Centre crowd will be roaring and the atmosphere will be electric as the Montreal Canadiens set their sights for the ultimate prize and taking down their hated rivals is a solid step in the right direction.
