EHE Trade Alert: CGY / TB

After much fan fair with the return of Ben Chiarot, the Calgary Flames have moved on from him again. A late night call from GM Justin Hill and in quick fashion Chiarot is sent to warmer weather in Eastern Conference and joins the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Coming back to Calgary is defensive prospect Noah Warren, defenseman Noah Juulsen, and cash considerations.

Chiarot was placed on the trade block ahead of the EHE Trade Deadline when word got out that Chiarot really didn’t want to be in Calgary because it was too cold for him and he preferred to be in a warmer climate, even if it meant giving up the chance to play in the playoffs.

As for the Noahs. Juulsen was excited to hear to hear he was coming to the Great White North and in his chat with GM Stephen, he indicated “I am excited to be a Calgary Flame and will to do whatever is asked to help the organization”.

As for Noah Warren he’ll help bolster the Flames prospects pool that has been depleted with the graduation of several players, as well as lack of picks.
