EHE News Breaker: Flames respond to the loss of Boone Jenner

On May 28th, GM Steve made a bold move to shore up his roster a head of the trade deadline. The move was made to give the guys every opportunity to push for the playoffs while adding some experience and further depth to the roster.

Coming home to Calgary from the LA Kings is Pavel Zacha and a 2025 3rd round pick.

Heading to LA are Jacob Bernard-Docker and prospect Ryan Greene.

So why is this a bold move. Well Greene we feel will be a quality player for years to come in the EHE, while Calgary local boy Bernard-Dockers subtraction will impact the Wranglers this season.

This will be Zacha’s second time with the Flames. Zacha had previously played during the 2017/2018 season. This go around we will be looking to keep Zacha a Flame for years to come.
