New York Rangers has finalised their Free Agency this off-season and let's take a look what has happened over the last few weeks. Going into free agency there were multiple question marks and multiple holes in the roster and it was always going to be a quite job to make the team better. When Free Agency was announced Rangers quickly went to work.
Here are the highlights!
RANGERS RE-SIGN CHRIS KREIDER TO ONE-YEAR DEAL
NEW YORK, December 27th - New York Rangers general manager Martin Auzins today announced the re-signing of forward Chris Kreider to a one-year $3,575,000 agreement.
Kreider, 32, had a great year in 2022-23, recording career high 35 goals and 35 assists for 70 points in his ninth EHE season.
In 703 career games with Lightning, Blackhwaks, Ducks and Rangers, Kreider has recorded 183 goals, 238 assists, 421 points and 570 penalty minutes.
IGOR, IGOR, IGOR!
NEW YORK, December 27th - New York Rangers general manager Martin Auzins today announced the re-signing of goaltender Igor Shesterkin to a four-year $4,725,000 agreement.
Shesterkin, 28, had a decent year in 2022-23, recording career high 35 wins, going along with 0.908 SV% and 2.78 GAA in his third EHE season.

NEW YORK, December 27th - New York Rangers general manager Martin Auzins today announced the re-signing of center Sam Bennett to a four-year $2,800,000 agreement.
Bennett, 27, had a career year in 2022-23, recording career high 23 goals and career high 28 assists for 51 points in his seventh EHE season.
In 553 career games with Panthers and Rangers, Bennett has recorded 73 goals, 98 assists, 171 points and 191 penalty minutes.
WELCOME BACK, NICK!
NEW YORK, December 30th - New York Rangers general manager Martin Auzins today announced the re-signing of defenseman Nick Jensen to a three-year agreement.
Jensen, 33, had a respectable year in 2022-23, recording 2 goals and 17 assists for 19 points in his sixth full EHE season.
In 460 career games with Capitals, Islanders, Blackhawks, Avalanche and Rangers, Jensen has recorded 17 goals, 79 assists, 96 points and 317 penalty minutes.
CHARLIE COYLE JOINS THE BLUESHIRTS!
NEW YORK, December 31th - New York Rangers general manager Martin Auzins today announced the signing of center Charlie Coyle to a three-year agreement.
Coyle, 31, had a good year in 2022-23, recording 24 goals and 25 assists for 49 points in his ninth EHE season.
In 654 career games with Bruins, Rangers, Canadiens, Stars, Blackhawks, Lightning, Blue Jackets and Coyotes, Coyle has recorded 142 goals, 166 assists, 308 points and 249 penalty minutes.

RANGERS SIGN MULTIPLE PROSPECTS TO ELC's!
Rosen, 20, spent his first year in North America in 2022-23, recording 14 goals and 23 assists for 37 points for Rochester Americans in real life AHL. Originally drafted by New York in 2021 (23rd overall), it is expected that Rosen will see limited time in AHL this year with the reigning AHL Champions Hartford Wolf Pack.
Stastney, 23, spent 4 years in NCAA before going pro in 2022-23, recording 5 goals and 8 assists for Milwaukee Admirals in real life AHL. Originally drafted by New York in 2020 (101st overall), it is expected that Stastney will see limited time in AHL this year with the reigning AHL Champions Hartford Wolf Pack.
Knazko, 21, spent his first year in North America in 2022-23, recording 1 goal and 20 assists for 21 points for Cleveland Monsters in real life AHL. Originally drafted by New York in 2020 (124th overall), it is expected that Knazko will be extra defenseman in AHL this year with the reigning AHL Champions Hartford Wolf Pack.
