: Rasmus Andersson
Tom Willander made a practically unprecedented jump from the J20 Nationell directly to college. In that context, it's difficult to assign anything less than a passing grade to his work on Boston Univ.'s blue line as a freshman. Willander was a robust defensive presence, holding up well in space and close quarters alike, and he became more comfortable activating into the play as the season wore on. The catch right now is that Willander's game with the puck is far more underdeveloped than we anticipated in his draft year, but perhaps it will improve as he gets used to the pace of the North American game. (EliteProspects, 2024)
