Preds' Prey on the Wild

- NASHVILLE TN

The Nashville Predators found their redemption, as they finally sunk the Minnesota Wild in 6 games. Redeeming themselves of when the Preds fell to the Wild in 2017 in the opening round of the playoffs. "It feels very satisfying to eliminate Minnesota from the playoffs" Crosby said "They've had our number as of late, they took us out two years ago in our only playoff appearance, and they were the #1 seed in the West this year, so this is a very satisfying win for us, but we know there is still a lot of tough work ahead and we have to remain focused." Crosby concluded in his post series interview.

Sidney Crosby continues his dominance of the EHE playoffs thus far, tallying 10 goals and 14 assists for 24 pts in 11 games. Taylor Hall, 2nd in playoff scoring, has 21 pts in 11 games. The next best player is Nikita Kucherov of the Detroit Red Wings with 15 pts in 10 games.

The dynamic duo of Crosby and Hall have been feasting on their opponents. Driving the offense and taking over games in the playoffs. However, the Predators now have to take on the Dallas Stars, a very deep team with very skilled depth. Can Crosby and Hall take over another series when faced with a star-studded cast of players on the Dallas Stars? "You know, although the Wild finished 1st in the West, and the Blackhawks who we played in round 1 finished even ahead of the Stars, the Stars are built much differently than the Wild and Blackhawks." Wolf said "This is a team that has 3 all-star defenseman, and an offense led by the likes of Ovechkin, Backstrom, Pastrnak, Monahan and company. We know they finished 4th in the division, but we feel this team is going to be a true test of if we have what it takes to push forward. Dallas is gonna give us hell, and I see a much bigger challenge playing them." Wolf admitted.

A big portion of the Predators playoff wins have come at a one goal game. Can Nashville's three headed dragon of Crosby, Hall, and McDavid, be enough to snuff out the Stars? Nashvilles depth is going to have to step up if they want any chance of moving on.... the question is, does Nashville have enough cards to clinch their way to their first ever Stanley Cup Final appearance?

The series against the Dallas Stars is slated to begin Monday night, as the Preds and Stars kick off Round 3 of the EHE Playoffs.
