Hodgson to Arizona
2024-01-25About 15 years ago after a 2pm Sunday OHL game in Brampton. I was walking the concourse with my young son. We came upon a crowd of fans, parents and players.
Cody Hodgson, Brampton Battalion star and Team Canada hero, exchanged a pleasant greeting. And then without being asked or prompted. He took my son and introduced him to the team. Grabbed some mini sticks and played for a minute or two. Then had the guys sign the sticks and hand them over to my son.
Fast forward, we heard the news of Cody's medical battles and now comeback. The Arizona Coyotes would be honored to have Cody join our club.
Remains to be seen what will happen. But we wish him well and lots of success wherever he plays.
