New Boss in town 2020-04-26 Boston, MA -- Amid a disappointing season Boston GM Adam O'Blenes decided to make a change behind the bench. Out goes Todd McClellan and in comes Mike Yeo. "It's time for some accountability around here and the first to go was the Todd. We gave him several chances this year to right the ship and after meeting with him and some players we made the decision. Mike will come in and bring some new systems that should be better suited for our players. GM O'Blenes continued by saying that even though they haven't been eliminated from the playoffs, the chances are very slim and therefore are looking at options for some free agents. There have been several inquiries on a few players and we've made it no secret that Andrew Cogliano, Trevor Daley, Derek Ryan and Nino Niederreiter are available as the team looks to restock it's prospect list and draft picks for 2020 that the previous GM had depleted. When asked what he will do with the lottery first round pick, O'Blenes stated that he will consider all of his options, but it would be very difficult to pass up on getting one of the top players in the draft. With 18 games left in the season, the Bruins can set the table on what to expect for next year.
