Tarasenko Heading To Sunny San Jose

The day has come that many Wing fans hoped would never happen. The Detroit Red Wings have traded Vladimir Tarasenko to the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday evening alongside Evan Rodrigues and Troy Stecher. 

Coming the other way and the reason why GM Valle couldn't resist was that they were able to bring in a kid that the people of Michigan loved and cheered for recently in Quinn Hughes. Coming with him are veterans Conor Sheary, Brad Hunt and Tyler Ennis. 

Hughes automatically gives the Wings a cornerstone on defense for years to come! 

Tarasenko was a huge fan favorite as he was able to bring the fans of the Detroit a cup last year and is currently the 8th all-time goal scorer in the EHE and will easily become one of the Sharks fan favorites with jerseys already flying off the shelves in San Jose according to the Mercury News. 

We were able to catch up with a Sharks fan who first in line at the Sharks store outside the Shark Tank named Kevin Lacey. 

"Omg Omg we just landed Tarasenko!" 

"When news broke I rode my bike here as fast as I could to be first in line to get my Tarasenko jersey" 

The veterans that came along with Quinn to help the Sharks get under the cap are rumored to be possibly flipped right away to contending teams and help bring in some youth back the other way to the Wings.
