Stockton Heat down 2-0

With the Series 2-0 for the Barracuda's the Stockton Heat head home to safe confines with every intention of getting back and extending the series. Unfortunately Phil Varone saw his season ended at 10:41 of the 3rd period of game 1 when Heat cast off Brendan Gauce decided to take matters into his own hands and take out Varone. Word has it Gaunce couldn't take the heat Varone was offering. Early reports are that Varone will be out for the remainder of the season. After splitting the first two games between Vladar in game 1 and Vanecek in game 2. Vanecek will be getting the game 3 start. Vanecek didn't have a strong showing in game 2 and has vowed it will be a different story in Game 3.

GM Steve of the Flames and the rest of the big team greeted the team at the airport to stand behind the kids in support of their efforts and have asked the fans to show up for Game 3 and bring the heat so that everyone can feast on some tasty fish.
