There's a Rocket in my Ice Cap

2017-05-25
And it's not just you

Shortly after the Ice Caps were eliminated from the Calder Cup playoffs by those worthless Binghamton Senators, IceCaps president and Canadiens Assistant GM, Sofia Vasquez-Size, announced that the IceCaps would be relocating their farm affiliate to Laval and being renamed the Rocket.

"Rah-Ket" Sofia was quoted as saying when asked about the move.

"Papa"

Rumors had been running about the move, the Habs couldn't comment on anything during the season.

Most Newfies weren't even aware there was a team in St John's despite the team's success including the AHL North division championship. Most fishermen seemed confused about the team moving to Laval saying they knew nothing of the sort.

Habs GM and President, Duran Size, called the move a geographically logical choice.

" We need our boys here on a dime and having them in Laval over St John's makes this easier. We can't thank the city of St John's enough for having our team in their city for the past three seasons but now it's time to move on."

The club will be set to play in the upcoming 2017-18 season.
