Scout Jack Mehoff excited to get a 1st

The Stars and Wings have had great line of communication since Day 1. Bob came to Francisco with a trade offer that took only a few conversations to get done. He reached out with a great offer off the bat ( no low balling ) and a few days before that Nelson who had registered 17 points in 30 games was getting frustrated playing 3rd line center behind Trocheck and Draisaitl had asked GM Valle if he could potentially seek a trade for him.

The Wings being one of the worst teams couldn't resist moving him when a top 10-15 pick was offered for him, especially if the player's mind was already else where and had one foot out the door looking for a new scenery.

Dallas: Brock Nelson

Detroit: San Jose's 1st rounder

Detroit could really use these 1st rounder's to help speed up their rebuild even though this draft is rumored to not be that great.
