Wings sending 9

The Red Wings are proud to be sending 9 prospects to this year's IIHF World Junios. In total the Wings are sending 5 forwards, 2 defenders, and 2 goaltenders. That's a pretty good group of lads when you take into consideration that the Wings also have highly rated prospects like Christian Dvorak, Riley Tufte, Jesse Puljujarvi, Hayden Fleury, Julius Honka, Troy Stecher to new a few.

The Wings are slowly putting together a great group of young kids to build around for the future. Our scouts here have done an awesome job of scouting these young players. We would like to send a thanks to our scouts Stu Padaso, Semore Butz, Holden Makok, Harry Bush, Hugh Johnson and Jack Mehoff.
