Kings appoint Seo as new general manager 2016-12-22 The EHE announced today that the Los Angeles Kings have appointed Jay Seo as the club's new general manager. Seo joins the EHE's Kings with five years of experience as a GM of the Virtual Hockey League's Boston Bruins and Perennial Hockey League's Arizona Coyotes. "It's a tremendous honor to be part of the EHE and the Kings organization, and I'd like to thank the league staff and my fellow GMs for the warm welcome and for giving me this opportunity," Seo commented. "I'd also like to thank outgoing Kings GM Steve Lemyre for his great work with the club over the last few seasons and wish him the best in his future endeavors." When asked about his short-term goals for the club in the next few weeks, Seo declined to comment. "It'll take time to familiarize myself with the team and the league, but I'd like to ensure that the organization is competitive from top to bottom and that the club builds a core that can grow into a Stanley Cup contender." The newly minted Kings GM did reveal one personal goal, however. "Eric Wolf in Nashville -- that's the same Eric Wolf I know, right? Yeah, that guy licks my jock strap in the VHL, I'm going to make sure he does the same here."
