Caps announce final cuts 2016-10-12 The final cuts were announced today ahead of the pre-season start for the Hershey Bears. There were no surprises as everyone who was expected to go back to Hershey was sent back yesterday prior to the Capitals pre-season tilt against the New York Islanders which saw the team win 5-1.
