What? Huh! What does that Mean?

Stop! Stop! Call The Police!

That's what goalies are gonna be saying when Jesse lights the lamp on them day in and day out. He's a player with a varied set of skills. Goran Stubb from NHL Central Scouting had the following to say about Jesse : " He's a powerful skater with good speed and balance He has outstanding hockey sense and can reads the play well. He's a good playmaker with strong puck-handling skills. He can take advantage of 1 on 1 situations with his long reach."

All that was on display at the 2016 World Juniors where Jesse was named the tournament's MVP where he managed to light it up with 17 points in just 7 games leading Finland to the Gold.

When Puljujarvi showed up for the first time at the Wings facility he was greeted and welcomed by Sami Vatanen, Jyrki Jokipakka, Julius Honka and Henri Ikonen to make him feel loved and welcomed. Sami took Jesse to the side and told him he could crash out at his place as long as he did some chores around the house which Jesse gladly accepted.

The Red Wings were excited to land the #3 overall pick and have the oppurtunity to select who they thought was the best winger in the draft. Jesse will be on display come preseason and then Wings will decide then what to do with him as they are pretty stacked at the Wing position. He could crack the lineup or be sent down for the season.

The future looks bright at the WING positon no pun intended as they have Tarasenko, Kucherov, Hoffman, Tatar, Drouin, Puljujarvi, Dvorak to name just a few.

Jesse did send out a tweet that night saying to his new Red Wing fans:

Terve! Kittos paljon! Minun nimeni on Jesse Puljujarvi, Rakastan sinua! Hyvaa yota!
