Coyotes Add Iginla For Stretch Run

Pending league approval, the Arizona Coyotes have finalized a deal with the Winnipeg Jets that would see 38-year old RW Jarome Iginla head to the Valley of the Sun. In return, the Coyotes will send JT Brown, an 2nd round this year, and a 3rd round next year to the Jets.

The Coyotes are in the thick of \the playoff race, and Iginla will add some more scoring as well as overall leadership in "the room".

Iginla is currently leading the Jets this season with 21 goals and 35 assists in 64 games.

Expect the Coyotes to put him on the right side of line one with Jaden Schwartz and Logan Couture.

With the league's 2PM ET trade deadline, the Coyotes not expected to make any more but they do have some feelers out there, So one of them could turn into a deal in the next few hours. Stay tuned.
