Buffalo Adds Domi

The Buffalo Sabres have started a youth movement this year with a draft day trade to aquire Jack Eichel have found him a linemate for next season moving forward.

Buffalo aquired this week Max Domi for Paul Statsny,Shane Doan, Prospect Brandon Carlo a 2nd and 5th in the upcoming draft. Tomas Koepecky also is on his way to Buffalo to add veteran presense along with some good defensive play to fill out the bottom 6.

Buffalo is sad to see its captain Shane Doan move on it was whats best for both parties as Buffalo dose not appear to be a playoff team this season. We hope that Shane has the opportunity to win a cup with St. Louis. Stastny who help the #1 C post for Buffalo had 30 points in 52 games was moveable in a deal in order to aquire Domi. Prospect Brandon Carlo who is a few years away along with a 2nd allowed for Buffalo to not have to deal a 1st round pick which projects to be a top 10 pick at the best.

The Buffalo GM Dan Hubacher has been in love with Max Domi ever since Max was with the London Knights where he was seen taking over games. He has said Max Domi is one of his favorite juniors player he has ever seen.

The future line of Domi-Eichel-Vorachek has a lot of fans hopefull in the not too distant future. Buffalo is still looking to make some moves prior to deadline. A few UFAs can be had relatively easily....... others are able to move in teh right move. This move may put Tyler Ennis on the trade block in the rights deal. We hope for some good ratings for Domi and Eichel for the upcoming season.
