Full Steam Ahead

For the first time this season the New Jersey Devils have their full team, no injuries, and are on fire.

It has been 8 games since they have had everyone back where they should be and they have won 7 of those games. Sitting atop the leagues Power Rankings they are a force to be reckoned with, going into tonights game with back to back shut outs.

“We are firing on all Cylinders right now. Its fantastic to have the team working together, everyone is doing what needs to be done and we are getting goals from the entire lineup right now” - Captain Ryan Getzlaf.

“Having everyone back is making my job very easy at this point. Everyone is pulling their weight, actually much more than that, everyone is excelling at what we need them do to. Schneider is on back to back shutouts which always helps get the Ws on the board!” - Coach Mike Johnston

Ironically, the first game with everyone back went into a Shoot out and since then, not only has the team been winning, but they have been winning by multiple goals. 3 shut-outs in the last 8 games.

With the 6th best PP and the #1 PK in the league right now, the Devils are looking to continue this hot run as long as they can as they chase down the Ottawa Senators for the top spot in the league.

Speaking of those same Senators, they will meet head to head in New Jersey tonight. Looking to continue his Shut-out streak and add yet another W to the teams win column, Cory Schneider will get the start tonight.

“Its the golden rule you know? You get a Shut-out you play again. Obviously all things come to an end, but I am looking to see how long I can stretch this” - Cory Schneider.

Look for the Devils to come out hard and fast tonight as they try and take down the top dog in the League.

“They may be the #1 team right now, (Ottawa) standings wise. But look at the power rankings. We are the Top dog in the league and we will show it tonight.” - GM Kris Muchowski
