Busy summer in the Kings office

The 3 amigos were back at it again this morning but this time, they were all wearing their top designer suit but GM Lemyre has his sneakers on. Before they got the table, you could see super advisor Brisson giving it hard to GM Lemyre. Not sure exactly what they were saying but he didnt seems to proud of Lemyre choice of wardrob. The Quebecers are using church words when they are swearing so you could hear more then a 2 or 3 being used in one sentence. Then came assistant GM Robitaille taping Brisson on the back and saying "Calme toi le gros. Take it easy! The man is exausted". So proud as they always are, they all jumped on stage with the smiles on their face. Before the press conference started, one reporter asked what just happened there. Robitaille said nothing is wrong. Did you hear something ? We are all good! Right boys? GM Lemyre and Brisson weren't even listening and they just seems to be joking around and poking and tickeling each other. So Robitaille to start.

Well this summer has been very busy for us here at the beach. We did a couple of great signing starting with our 2 coachs. Bruce (Boudreau) is already working hard preparing our players in Gatineau, Quebec for the long winter season and Phil (Housley) is up in Ontario, California to get the Reign ready. We are two signing away but I should be taking care of it today. GM Lemyre is already falling asleep besides Robitaille having his two hands holding his face with the elbows on the table. Lucky that Robitaille was there because Lemyre is clearly not at 100%. We also re-signed our biggest RFA in Tanev and a couple of more quality depth players. Then Lemyre suddenly stands up and says: Well thats all the time I have for you today, im going on Santa Monica Bld. with Sheryl Crow for my hot yoga session. She has just texted me that all she wants to do is to have some little fun and she is leaving Las Vegas right now. I dont care what the other teams did this summer, my Kings will be ready and we are up to make another run at Cup. See you all on opening night! Then GM Lemyre disappeared. Like nothing happened, Brisson to add.

Lemyre just came back and said : Wait a sec Pat !  Well Sheryl will be late. I have one thing to say. The EHE is a tough league. Im one proud director that spend lots of time on the site.  This summer was hard one for all of us.  We changed the way we sign players and our system went down big time so we couldn't properly keep track of our pro and farm rosters.  Everyone was knocking on my door in order to get a contract with us. At one point, I even had the janitor coming in for a raise.  Seriously, Umberger, Lovejoy and Colaiacovo are great addition and they will help us in the playoffs.  Plus all the league meetings with commissioner Lacy !  Video conferences and early meetings.  If you think he is cool on his super sharp edited videos about free agency and al but beleive me, he is not in real life.  Uncensored i should say ! Tough cookie that man! For many of us I guess, it was a learning experience and next year, its should go all smoothy smoothy. So i got to go !  Counting Crows is wating for me...Ill come back later to talk about Jagr new mullet and Toews new sick ad with the water bottle. Go enjoy the sun !
