Miller not Quick enough in Montreal 2015-09-29 The Montreal Canadiens shook up their crease today with a series of moves that can only be described as chaotic! Size shocked the EHE world this morning when he dealt starting goaltender, Ryan Miller, to the Buffalo Sabers for forward Mathieu Perreault and young defenseman Jarred Tinordi. "We felt like we needed to make a move in net after we saw what happened last season." Turns out it was the tip of the iceberg. Later in the day the Habs pulled a stunner acquiring Jonathan Quick from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Nail Yakupov, Trevor Van Riemsdyk and a second round pick. We saw an opportunity to acquire an elite goaltender in Quick and didn't want to waste the chance especially with the team we have. We're grateful for everything Ryan did last season. The Habs have been pretty quiet this off season but in one day changed their landscape dynamically and is almost set for next season. Ps if there are typos I can't fix them from my phone.
