Jack Goff " There are a few teams this offseason still looking to make some moves, a team that is starting to garner a lot of attention is the Philadelphia Flyers.  When Gm and Team President Wes Mucyk took over the team he made many changes to his scouting and management staff.  That left everyone around the hockey world wondering just what he had in store for the players within his organization.  When asked a few weeks ago Wes had said that he would take some time to evaluate his team, get a feel for what the trade market was like and review the Flyers past season.  Now earlier today he had this to say."

Wes Mucyk " Well we brought in Brett Connolly getting our feet wet, and have gone through the draft where we were able to get a feel for the league.    Now after talking things over with my management staff and coaching staff, I have decided to let it be known that we are looking to make more changes throughout our organization.  Both to our off ice staff as well as it's players.  We are looking to move Alex Goligoski, Jack Johnson, David Krejci, Brian Elliot and many (check my block) others.  This team is built to win now, and clearly after last seasons results, that's just not the position this roster is actually in.  So I will be moving some assets in return for some assets"

Jack Goff " So now, although he didn't mention his name during his comments, word has it going around that Anze Kopitar, a guy who was once thought of as a possible untouchable on GM Wes' list,  is now on a possible trade asset.  We know that he is listening to offers on the 27 year old  Slovenian.
