GM Announced in Big D! 2015-08-07 Friday 8/7 Today is a first for the Dallas Stars, for the first time in franchise history they have appointed a replacement GM. After meetings with the EHE officials and team ownership a deal was struck. GM Larson comes to Dallas with years of hockey experince starting as a player through many years of coaching in various leagues. This experiance has paid off with a GM position in the EHE, and a fortunate landing spot in Dallas. We were able to talk with the newly appointed GM this week. We were left with two quotes that stuck out. "My philosophy; your paid to practice hard and develope your skills, you play the games for fun and love of hockey!" "We have the Cup in Dallas, and we intend to keep it!" Larson is a man with a fire in his belly and an absolute love for hockey. He will be taking the next week evaluating the orginization and his team. As it sits the Stars are in great position for the next few years with their current roster. Our expectation is that if any moves are made they will be mid to minor deals. More to come from Dallas!
