Their Pick Of The Crop

  The Philadelphia Flyers were pleased coming out of the 2015 EHE Entry Draft. " Yeah we're very pleased, I think our scouting staff did a great job at targetting certain guys, I mean it was such a deep draft class I think everyone would be happy to select any of these kids.  We love the guys we selected, and feel they'll all go on to have great EHE careers."   that was Flyers Gm and team President Wes Mucyk.

   The Flyers drafted Leon Draisaitl with the 8th overall pick.  Draisaitl is a versatile forward with great offensive instincts to go along with EHE ready size.  The German forward has high end skill and plays down the middle but is also capable of playing the wing.  The Flyers then selected another skilled forward who is also capable of playing at either center or on the wing in Jakub Vrana.  Vrana has a quick release and above average puck handling skills, but is known to get frustraited and dissappear during games.  The young kid has a lot of growing to due, but if he reaches his skill set potential would a great piece in the Flyers organization.

   Wes Mucyk made it well known that when he took over the team he would make sure that their prospect cupboards would be filled and stay stocked.  Needless to say the picks they made today were a great start in that dirrect helping do just that.
