This might be a big hot take, but I'm not sold on Cozens. He definately has the tools of a good prospect but he doesn't think the game well and has just been getting by with his speed & strength. Love the rest of the draft though, I had Tomasino high up and Bjornfot looks to have lots of potential.

We all knew Knight was going in round 1, the surprise was him going 11th. Still Knight is one of the better goalie prospects around and was deserving of an early selection. Suzuki is great value at 30th and everyone was scrambling for a pick when it was noticed Pinto was slipping bigtime. Nice draft Roberto.

I had Bobby Brink really high on my list, so nabbing him at the end of the first is great value. I really like the Kniazev pick too, he looked great in the Q last year. Drafting the NCAA signee Daccord is good value in round 4 too.

Picking an AHL goalie in round 3 and then going with another goalie in round 4 is a bit puzzling. Ellis has the higher upside of the two goalies picked though and I'm quite high on him. The rest of Jeff's draft was just pretty good.

Andre frickin nailed this thing, call the cops because this is armed robbery. Dach falling to 6? how does that happen? Love the back to back Broberg & Krebs picks too, even Afanasyev looks like a good value pick there. Also love the Nico Sturm pick, he might not be dynamic offensively but looks like a solid all around player.

I think the Kaliyev reach was a good one, dude put up 51 goals & 51 assists last year. I'm also not sure how Vlasic's offense will translate at the next level, but drafting a defensive D at 54th isn't terrible. Teply will join the Ice next year in the WHL and we can compare him closer to his age group and have a better feeling for his potential.

A good solid draft again for Justin. Nothing jumps off the page as a steal or amazing value at their positions, but there is tons of upside here. I'm big on Cajkovic, he's been a bright spot on a terrible Sea Dogs squad. Grabbing overager Teasdale at 55th is a good dice roll.

I'm not high on Soderstrom and feel he was picked high due to being a RHD in the NHL. That said he definately has lots of upside as a PMD, just need to see some offense out of him. He'll get to continue developing in a mens league as he'll be loaned back to Brynas next year.
