This question might sound absurd but in prder fo us to draft someone in the ehe draft do they have to be drafted into the nhl or can we draft someone who has been passed on?

I forgot to mention that any lists submitted to the league should be done so by Friday night! If you then wish to make changes on Saturday and re-submit, that's fine. However, don't wait until the last minute to get a proxy!

Teams who have sent draft lists/spreadsheets to the league:
Columbus, Nashville, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, Washington

Vancouver is the only other team who has stated they will not be available for the draft, who has not submitted a list or named a proxy.

As far as Calgary goes, I have been attempting for more than a week to discuss the position with a prospective GM, who really is just killing his own draft preparation time. If Calgary remains vacant, the league will draft on their behalf, much like what we did with Dallas last year.

For anyone looking for a list of available players for the draft, you may find it on the league index. That page does not have the exact draft order and it may still be missing some players, but there are nearly 600 players listed who are eligible.

I'll talk to Kevin in regards to a list for my one second round pick but id rather trade it as part of a package for a player or a slew of 4/5 round picks.
