Yep! They're eligible for drafting beyond round 10, just won't have ratings til next season!

The ratings spreadsheet has been updated with some player changes as recommended and on my own accord. Also, I removed a few ineligible players (McDavid, Drouin, etc.) that were accidentally in the last spreadsheet. The OV ratings have been slightly altered because I removed the morale rating as part of it. You will also note the big change to Pekka Rinne!

Please continue to post your notes about any other players.

Is it possible to have the full list of players available at the draft ? Rated and not rated.

I have a suggestion that may alleviate Colorado and others' concerns about ratings-

Individual rerates submitted to admin? It pacified many GMs in the VHL. Allow max 2 re-rate requests per team. Let the GM make a detailed case as to what specific stats should be raised, and go from there. It's a bit of a pain in the ass, and may delay the start of the season slightly but if we're playing a 48-game or 64 game season anyway I don't think it's a huge deal. Just a thought though, I'm good either way.. but something to consider.

I'm not totally against this proposition if it's correctly applied but it opens the door to injustice. The LCHV and many others ratings are using established formulas who prevent the values judgements. I think it's good to ask for change ratings of some players before the draft, but not after...

I have a concern for this. The team with a high pick in round #1 will have a high pick in round #11 essentially having first stab at top players but also top unrated prospect. just my 2 cents

I agree with the above. If someone is draft eligible, they should be available at any point. Not open at a certain round. Otherwise you just reward the top of the draft twice.

Please see Kevin's post from EHE Inaugural Draft. Basically : 5 forwards-3 dman-2 goalies : 10 rounds.

Are you proposing that we drop one of the two mandatory goalie positions before the end of round 10 and require one prospect instead?

I actually like this instead.

As the #1 overall pick holder, I feel like it would be unfair that I could easily select Jonathan Drouin as the 1st pick in Round 11

Besides, who the heck would want to waste a top 10 round pick on their back-up goalie? Definitely not me.
