Is anyone even aware that the real NHL Draft Lottery is tonight? Ha! Well it's time to make preparations for the EHE Draft Lottery! Like last year's lottery, three numbers will be randomly drawn (1st, 2nd, then 3rd) and matched up to the list of numbers that teams will be assigned to, based on their odds of winning, to determine which teams will own the first three picks in the draft. From there, the draft order from 15 to 1 will be announced. The new Vegas Golden Knights franchise will have the same draft odds as the 28th-ranked team from the recently-completed season.

The draft lottery will be held on Wednesday, May 10. (Subject to change)

The odds of winning the EHE draft lottery are exactly the same as how they are determined in the real NHL:

CHI: 18.0%
AZ: 12.1%
LV: 10.3%
DAL: 10.3%
CGY: 8.5%
TB: 7.6%
DET: 7.6%*
PHI: 6.7%
BUF: 5.4%
WPG: 4.5%
CBJ: 3.2%
FLA: 2.7%
TOR: 2.2%
NJ: 0.9%

*Detroit's odds of winning combined from acquiring San Jose's (5.8%) and Montreal's (1.8%) picks.

I did it, Mom!

I'm new to the league this season and took over a team in a bad spot and decided to go a certain direction. This is the start of a rebuild and a solid base to the future of the Hawks here. Hope I stay where I finished the end of the season when the Draft Lottery is all said and done. Go Hawks!!

Not being listed is just further evidence that the Ducks are part of the league's elite group

Here is the list of everyone's randomly-assigned "lottery balls" for the upcoming draft lottery. My current plan is to film the lottery Wednesday around 5pm ET and then hopefully have it uploaded right around sim time.

Maybe I can finally win something this season!
