It was built into the league schedules in the same way that the Christmas break was (so yes, these days do count towards injuries and such).The simulator runs the ASG in the traditional format of 12 skaters, 6 defensemen, and 3 goalies per team. All teams will be represented by at least one player. GMs will have through Wednesday night to submit their first-choice and second-choice All-Stars to represent their team -- the second-choice is in case we have too many players at a certain position.
Each of the two All-Star teams will be represented by the GMs with either the best record or best participation score or a combination as of Wednesday night (I have not decided yet). Bankroll bonuses will be awarded to the GM who wins the ASG and the team whose player wins the All-Star MVP award!
Participation is optional. However, not participating will mean that you will forfeit any possible bankroll bonuses you would receive.
There will be all-star games for both the NHL and AHL levels, although all instructions above apply only to the NHL game. They will likely be simulated late at night before I go to bed.
