Sens GM Jameson Fletcher retiring from EHE
2019-08-25Hi Kevin and team,
I have done a lot of thinking this past month, and even though I really like this league and have enjoyed my time here, I need to step away as GM of the Ottawa Senators. I was actually really looking forward to the rebuild I started, and wanted to see how it turned out. I never did a rebuild before, and thought I could do a really good job at it.
But I find myself too busy with no time to spare for this league. I have been avoiding messages from other GMs about trade offers because I had no time to look into them. My career has become very important, as has my wife and trying to start a family. I am taking courses at the same time to further my development as a person, so all of this has taken most of my time. When I am not doing this, I want to watch sports, and follow my teams, and play fantasy football (my passion). All of this to say that this league has fallen by the wayside for me and I just cannot dedicate the time needed that is fair to everyone else in the league.
Thank you for everything, as I really had a blast in this league. Kevin, you really made a great league, and this is all due to your dedication, determination and attention to detail. I wish you and the entire league the very best going forward.
Sincerly,
Jameson Fletcher (former GM of Ottawa)
