Calgary vs Colorado

After a busy off season, the 2019/2020 EHE season started off for the Flames with a 5-4 shootout loss to the Colorado Avalanche.

After the game, coach was brief but had this to say. We are happy with the heart and hustle the guys had out there however I am not happy with giving up 3 goals to start but to come back from a 3-0 lead and tie it up by the end of the second is very encouraging. It shows that the guys aren’t going to quit and roll over.  We have a lot of work to still do and defensively we need to tidy up some things but it’s an encouraging sign heading back home to face the Canucks, who also lost in overtime.
