13th Overall: Cole Caufield RW - USDP

Small guy with a terrific shot. He puts up 72 goals in 64 games last year in the USNTDP pogram. For those who think that he got more goals because he played with Jack Hughes last year, here what he said to the media about that: ''I’ve said this before, but (Hughes) wouldn’t have had the number of assists if it wasn’t for me, too''. In a league where goal-scoring is at a premium, Caufield was just a perfect fit on a team that had dificulty to scores in the past few years.

43rd Overall: Pyotr Kochetkov G - HK Sochi (KHL)

Kochetkov was on his third year of eligibility. This year in VHL, he was excellent for HK Ryazan, was nearly unbeatable for the Russian Select squad when they barnstormed through Canada for the Junior Subway Series and led Russia to a Bronze Medal while he also earned the title of the best goalie at the tournament.

44th Overall: Ryan Johnson D - Sioux Falls Stampede (USHL)

Johnson was a very safe pick at this rank. He is a really fast skater and shows a very good head for the game. His defensive game is very advanced, We think that he can be a good #3 dman in the future able to play a shut-down role at even strength and the penalty kill and providing a minimum of offensive value.

75th Overall: Vladislav Firstov LW - Waterloo Black Hawks (USHL)

He is an offensively gifted player whose puck possession skills allow him to extend possessions where other players would have coughed the puck up. He has a knack for putting his linemates into prime scoring position if he doesn’t sense a clean shot on net for himself. We know that he has a lack of consistency shift to shift but we think that he is a very good bet.

78th Overall: Hunter Jones G - Peterborough Petes (OHL)

Goalie with a good size and a good technic. Last year, he played 3156 minutes in net for the third most in OHL ans seventh in CHL. Drafting goalies is always a bet, but we think Jones could be a potential #1 goalie if he continue to work hard and played a lot of minutes.

127th Overall: Zac Jones D - Tri-City Storm (USHL)

Small, but fast and skilled, Jones fits the modern mold of the puck moving defenseman. Jones won the rookie of the year last year in USHL and also led the league for most assists for a defenseman. He could be a nice pick if he reach his full potential.

154th Overall: Marshall Warren D - USDP

All around defenseman who can play well both offensivily and defensively. We may have pick him next year, but we think the best decision was to protect his right this year. We are very exited to see what he will do next year with Boston College.
